Elder Park, Adelaide


Wednesdays: 6:00pm

The Adelaide Running Crew meets at The Elder Park Rotunda (on the River Torrens) at 6:00pm with the warm up starting at 6:10pm. The Rotunda is closest to the corner of King William Rd and Victoria Drive (parking is available along Victoria Drive and/or Memorial Drive).Training venues include Uni Loop, Torrens Lake and Brougham Gardens.

Please note that on Wednesday 28th March training will commence at the Rymill Park Kiosk.  Following training all runners are invited to follow on to Joggers World nearby in Pirie Street for drinks, nibbles and a chat with the podiatrists from Podiatry First Sports where you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about running and running shoes and check out their facilities.

These sessions are designed to make you fitter and faster and follow a program designed by a qualified athletics coach.

Following the warm up, runners do a series of strides and drills before commencing the main part of the session. The night concludes with a cool down run and stretching.

Sessions usually finish by 7:15pm

Saturdays: 8:00am

Saturday runs range in distance from 10km to 20km and take place at a variety of locations around Adelaide each week. Locations include Henley Beach, Belair National Park, Rymill Park, Uni Loop and other various parklands through Adelaide CBD.
